One App, Thirteen Days, No Contest

JW Library, built for Jehovah's Witnesses by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, leads this board with 120 languages, and its rating count backs that up too. It's held the #1 spot for all 13 days this board has been tracked, and nothing else has come close to catching it. People reviewing the app talk about using it for actual study rather than casual reading, and they credit the research tools plus a newer multi-window feature for that. Plenty still want more polish and better organization, to be fair. At its core, it's a translation project built around scripture study, covering a huge share of the world's languages, and somehow it still stays under this board's size cap.

On paper the gap to second place looks small, but it carries more weight than the number suggests: JW Library's 120 languages beat #2 by just 3 languages. When the difference between dominating a category and merely doing well comes down to a handful of locale files, three languages is a real margin, even if it doesn't look like much at a glance.

The EVERAPPZ Triplet

Right behind the leader you can't miss a pattern. Positions #2, #3, and #4, Evertag: Music Tag Editor, Flacbox: Hi-Res Music Player, and Evermusic: Cloud Music Player, all come from the same developer, EVERAPPZ SL, and all sit at exactly 117 languages. Three apps landing on the same number is not a coincidence. It looks like one localization pipeline reused across a whole music catalog, and it's the clearest case on this board of one developer's infrastructure decisions shaping several rows at once.

Beyond that cluster, the board scatters into apps that share little except their reach: a music downloader from Aktis Inc at 106, a compass app at 101, the dating and friends app Boo App at 98, a virtual mic utility at 95, then Firefox and Ecosia rounding out the top 10 in the mid-80s. Browsers and search tools built for a genuinely worldwide audience end up next to a compass app and a dating app, and that mix says heavy localization isn't tied to any single app category.

The leader's number works out to roughly 1.8 times the median across the top 100, which says the top of this board is genuinely rare air, not just the front edge of a long, flat plateau. Google's products show up 23 times in the top 100. No single Google app leads the pack, but that much repetition across one portfolio points to a company-wide habit of shipping broad language support by default, a bigger, more spread-out version of what EVERAPPZ SL did in miniature near the very top.
