The name that won't stop showing up

Indigo Penguin Limited turns up 19 times in this top 100 alone. That's nineteen separate app listings from a single developer, all chasing the same "most Apple devices supported" title. Somebody at Indigo Penguin figured out a repeatable formula for device-support metadata, then ran it across listing after listing until the board was basically theirs.

Nobody else in the visible top 25 comes close to that. Most names here show up exactly once: Dominic Iocco, Brett Elms, Humongous Entertainment, each tied to a single entry. Indigo Penguin Limited is playing a completely different game, and the board keeps rewarding it.

A board that's mostly a tie

The median value across the whole top 100 lines up with the value sitting at #1. 178 isn't some rare peak reserved for one app, it's the going rate for a huge chunk of the list. The gap between #1 and #2 is zero. The crown changes hands, again

Bomb Squad: Red Line is new to the top ten and currently holds #1, having taken the crown from Zombies of the Dead FREE in August 2026. It's held that spot for 13 of the last 51 tracked days, which sounds decent until you look at the full record. The crown has actually changed hands 9 times in that same stretch.

That's a rotation, not a dynasty. Nine handoffs in 51 days makes the top spot on this board pretty unstable, even with a tie at 178 running deep into the ranking. Bomb Squad: Red Line holds the title right now. Whether it's still holding it next week is a different question entirely.
