Why you are seeing appwanderer.com in your analytics
If appwanderer.com shows up in your App Store Connect referrer report or your website analytics, it is because your app holds, or ranks on, one of our records. AppWanderer is an independent record book for the App Store: we read public App Store data and turn it into leaderboards for a single question at a time, the biggest app, the most rated, the oldest survivor, and dozens more. Every app we list links straight to its official App Store page, so when a reader taps through to you, that visit lands in your analytics as traffic from us.
That traffic is free. You do not pay to appear in a record, and no developer can pay to change a ranking or the way we cover an app. Records are computed from public metadata on a fixed, published method and recomputed continuously throughout the day.
Feature your app
Separately from the records, you can buy visibility, never position. A promotion is a clearly-labeled Promoted card that appears in a fixed slot, alongside a relevant board, on our tools and deals pages, or on the homepage, seen by readers who are actively browsing App Store standouts. It is marked as promoted, kept visually separate from our editorial content, and it has no effect whatsoever on any ranking or write-up.

Alongside the promotions we sell directly, AppWanderer also displays advertising served by trusted third-party advertising partners. Those ads are chosen and delivered by the partners, not by us, so your app or brand may appear on our pages, or drive a visit that shows up in your analytics as traffic from us, through one of those networks rather than through a promotion you booked with us. All advertising is clearly marked and kept separate from our editorial records and guides.
