Nobody buys something like this on a whim. Prices at this level work more like filters than products: a way to bill one specific client, a gate placed in front of a niche professional tool, or just a curiosity that basically no one taps 'buy' on.

The gap down to second place is real, even if it's nothing dramatic by this board's usual spread. CodeDynamix's dictionary app 広辞苑第七版【岩波書店】(ONESWING) sits at $10,000.00, $1,000.00 behind the leader. That gap ends up wider than most of what follows in the top ten: プロ漢方 takes #3 at $9,000.00, Ocula grabs #4 at $8,000.00, and the spacing between ranks stays in four figures for a stretch before it starts closing fast.

From Four Figures to One

The cliff is really the story here. ConstLiDAR and KOYU Inc.'s two geometry apps (中学受験算数 究極の立体＜展開＞ and 中学受験算数 究極の立体＜切断＞) hold #5 through #7, all sitting at $5,000.00, before Wonderfy Inc.'s pair of geometry apps drops down to $4,500.00. By #10, Шансон Радио FM Hi-Fi has already fallen to $4,490.00, still absurd money for an app but under half what the leader is charging. Follow that line all the way to #100 and the price bottoms out at $1,000.00, an 11-to-1 drop from top to tail across the ranked field.

That pattern, a small cluster of five-figure outliers giving way to a long shelf of four-figure prices, is why the median across the top 100 sits so far below the top. The leader's $11,000.00 price tag comes out to 5.8 times that median. A handful of apps seem to be testing just how much a price field will bear, while a much bigger group settles beneath them into a stable, if still extreme, four-figure norm.

One Publisher, Everywhere; One Crown, Restless

Look past the top ten, though, and one name keeps turning up: SQUARE ENIX appears 19 times in the top 100. None of its titles crack this particular top ten, but that kind of repetition marks it as the one publisher treating premium pricing as an ongoing strategy rather than a one-off stunt. Every other app in the top ten comes from its own unrelated developer.

The top spot hasn't settled down either. 広辞苑第七版【岩波書店】(ONESWING) held #1 for 7 of the last 14 tracked days before スマホ de サーベイ took over in July 2026, notable given that 広辞苑 is otherwise new to the top ten. Over the full tracked period, the crown has changed hands 10 times. On a board defined by four and five figure list prices, it seems prices get set, held briefly, and overtaken the moment someone else decides to charge more, rather than settling into a lasting flagship position.
